Why you shouldn't vote for the Tories

Fiscal responsibility

Despite frequent claims otherwise, Labour governments historically have a stronger claim to be fiscally responsible than their Conservative counterparts.

Islamophobia

The Tories like to point the finger at Labour over anti-Semitism, but have a blind spot for Islamophobia in their own party, and have failed to take steps to tackle it.

Universal Credit

The Tories have made advertising claims about Univeral Credit which were so misleading they were banned by the Advertising Standards Authority.

Former members of the party, including a former prime minister, are declining to do so

Several former party members, including former Prime Minister John Major, and ex-chairman Chris Patten, are supporting candidates who were thrown out for voting according with their principles and against a no-deal Brexit.

They are misleading the electorate

An independent fact checker stated that 88% of the Tories` adverts were to some extent misleading.
